WE OFFER :

At Humpty Dumpty we offer free education placement for 15/30 hours, each week, during term times through the Nursery Education Funding Scheme.
If you would like to know any more about us, or you are interested in visiting us, don’t hesitate to call.

WE ARE OPEN FROM :

Monday to Friday
Mornings – 9.30 to 12.30pm
Lunch club – 12pm to 12.30pm
Afternoons – 12.30pm to 3.30pm
All day 9.30 to 3.30pm

We are a term time only Pre-school, so will have all of the 1/2 terms, seasonal holidays off

ABOUT US :

At Humpty Dumpty we provide childcare placements for children aged 2 to 4 years old.

We aim to provide a warm, welcoming environment where children can learn through play, and each child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our Vision is for the children to have fun while learning, to be happy and confident, and feel safe in the nursery environment.

CLAUDETTE

My name is Claudette and I started in September 2023. I am the keyworker for the group “What the Ladybird Heard”. I have enjoyed my first year here at Humpty Dumpty Pre-school, looking after all the children and learning the routine of the nursery

Jackie

Hi my name is Jackie and I am the Manager of Humpty Dumpty Pre-school. I have a level 3 in Childcare and Education, Designated Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Senco and Sign-along, among many other qualifications.

I first started working at Humpty Dumpty 25 years ago during those years I went from Key worker to Deputy Manager to Manager.

I love working with all the children and staff, and enjoy the satisfaction of the parents telling me what their child has learnt and achieved since starting with us.

Hi my name is Gillian and I am Deputy Manager here at Humpty Dumpty Pre-school. I have worked at the Nursery for the past 14 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have a level 3 qualification in childcare, a qualified level 3 Teaching Assistant, along with Designated Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Senco, Sign-along and many other qualifications.

I am a Keyworker for the Group “The Gruffalo” and enjoy engaging in a variety of activities with the children. I also enjoy working in a Senco role supporting the children with a variety of different needs and abilities.

Hello my name is Lisa, I am the Keyworker for the group “The Smartest Giant in Town”. I have worked here for the last 11 years and really enjoy making a difference in the children’s ongoing development. I have 3 NVQ’s in Childcare, 2 maths functional skill qualifications, sign-along training and I have also been on various courses covering a wide range of special educational needs. I also have 2 children myself.

Hi, my name is Vicki and I am Room Leader and Creative Organizer for Humpty Dumpty Pre-school. I have worked here for the past 14 years and enjoy working in such a rewarding role. I have two children of my own who both came to Humpty Dumpty Pre-school.

Hello, I’m Chante and I am the Key Worker for the “Hungry Caterpillar Group” I started working at Humpty Dumpty Pre-school about 10 years ago as a student and was fortunate enough to get a full time job working here when I finished my level 3 in Childcare. I also have Paedatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene. I love working here as we are just like one big family. I have one little one of my own who is now 2 years old

Hi my name is Marie, I am the key worker for “What the Shark in the Park”. I have been at Humpty Dumpty Pre-school for the past 8 years. I am enjoying working with all the children and staff, I am passionate about working with the children and watching them develop into confident little people.

Hi I’m Lois, I have been working at Humpty Dumpty Pre-school for 11 years now. My Key Group is “Tiger Who came to Tea”. I have a level 3 in Child Development along with First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and Sign-along level 2. I have 3 children of my own. I love to watch the children grow in confidence and get excited when they learn something new.

Humpty Dumpty has been nothing but amazing since day one of our son starting.He had so much support since we found out he has additional needs and has come such a long way. Not taking him out to reception! The staff are more like family.

I currently have my soon to be 3 year old attending Humpty Dumpty Pre-school and he is enjoying himself massively. I have been using Humpty Dumpty for the past 4 ½ years, in that time my two other sons have attended and both were very sad to leave. The staff are very friendly and supportive when needed, which they were when we felt my son needed speech therapy and worked with the suggestions that they advised.
